drivers say.
We don't pay for reviews and we don't script them. Here's what some of the people running with us have shared, in their own words.
“Honestly I was skeptical after getting burned by two carriers before. First few weeks with Wildfire I kept waiting for the catch. Hasn't come yet. Miles are consistent, home time is what they told me, and nobody's playing games with the fuel surcharge.”

“Had a blowout on I-40 around midnight. Called dispatch, guy picked up on the second ring. No attitude, just 'we got you.' Had a mobile tire service there in under an hour. That's not normal in this industry — I've sat on the side of the road for four hours with other carriers.”

“The pay stubs actually make sense. I know that sounds like a low bar but after 12 years of deciphering mystery deductions every week, I can't overstate how much that matters. I called in once about a discrepancy and it was fixed by end of day.”

Talk To Recruiting→What CDL do I need to drive for Wildfire Express?
A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required for all OTR positions. We hire across the lower 48, and we accept CDLs from any state.
How much experience do you require?
A minimum of 2 years of recent OTR experience in a Class A sleeper is required. If you’re close to that requirement, contact our HR team — we evaluate every application individually.
How often does Wildfire pay drivers?
Settlements run weekly, Saturday-to-Saturday. Direct deposit hits your account the following Friday. No held-back weeks, no surprise reserves.
Do you offer fuel cards or sign-on bonuses?
Yes — fuel cards are issued on day one with a fleet discount averaging 30–50¢ per gallon. Sign-on, referral, and clean-inspection bonuses are seasonal; ask recruiting for the current offer.
Can I review my settlement before payment is processed?
Always. Each Saturday you receive your detailed statement to confirm. If anything looks off, accounting fixes it before the Friday payout — that is the whole point of the review window.
Where do I park my truck between loads?
Our main yard is centrally located in the U.S. with secure overnight parking. Drivers based out-of-region can use our partner network — no extra fee.
